The Eye Centers New Doctors

The Eye Centers are pleased to announce the addition of two new Ophthalmologists to our practice for Fall 2022. With the addition of these two ophthalmologists, we will increase our ability to satisfy our patients’ surgical needs. You may be offered one of these two outstanding ophthalmologists for your next appointment. We pride ourselves on the care given by each of our staff members and doctors, and we know that they will take excellent care of our patients.

Alyssa Darrah, MD 
Shane Seipel, MD

Alyssa Darrah, MD was born in Mayfield Heights and grew up on the east side of Cleveland. Areas of interest are cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and eyelid surgery. Dr. Darrah provides eye care for all ages and is currently accepting new patients.

Shane Seipel, MD is a native Clevelander and is very happy to start his career in this area with The Eye Centers. He specializes in cataract and cornea surgery and is currently accepting new patients.

No Surprise Act 2022

In accordance with the “No Surprise Act” Fairview Eye Center will provide our patients with a good faith estimate for expected charges.  Patients eligible are those that do not have insurance or patients whose insurance is out of network for our practice. Due to COVID-19, we are continually updating our protocols to keep our staff and patients safe. We recommend masks for all patients and visitors.  If you have cold-like symptoms, we will require you to wear a mask.  We will also check your temperature.  If you have a fever, we will reschedule your appointment.  Due to COVID, please be advised that we are not accepting walk-in patients.  Please call to make an appointment. We allow one visitor per patient. Our optical shops are continuing to see patients by appointment only. Please call the office for further details.
