Michael T. Moussa, M.D.

Dr. Michael Moussa is completing his advanced ophthalmology training at Saint Louis University, with graduation expected in June 2026. Originally from Michigan, he attended Wayne State University in Detroit, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Throughout his medical education, Dr. Moussa demonstrated a strong commitment to service and leadership, serving as a national student representative for the AAMC and volunteering extensively with community-based street medicine initiatives and free clinics.

Driven by a passion for advancing patient care, Dr. Moussa has been actively involved in ophthalmic research. His work includes peer-reviewed publications and clinical investigations focused on improving surgical outcomes and analyzing social media trends across advanced refractive procedures. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Christian Ophthalmology Society.

Dr. Moussa is excited to bring his surgical talents and dedication to patient-centered care to Northeast Ohio. His practice focuses on comprehensive adult eye care, with a strong emphasis on advanced cataract surgery and refractive techniques.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Moussa enjoys spending time with his family and church community, mentoring students, traveling, and staying active. He looks forward to settling into the local community and would be pleased to schedule a consultation or routine eye exam with you.
