Alyssa Darrah, MD was born in Willoughby Hills and raised on Cleveland’s east side. She currently lives in Highland Heights with her husband and their two sons.
Dr. Darrah earned her undergraduate degrees in neurobiology and computer science, graduating magna cum laude from Georgetown University. She was honored with membership in Phi Beta Kappa, recognizing her as part of the top ten percent of her class. Accepted early into Georgetown University School of Medicine, she further distinguished herself by being inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
After medical school, Dr. Darrah completed her internship and residency in Ophthalmology at The Ohio State University. Her professional expertise spans cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma management, and functional eyelid surgery. Additionally, she offers cosmetic procedures, including upper eyelid blepharoplasty, and provides Botox injections.
