Dr. Elizabeth Bedell grew up in Westlake, Ohio. She attended Magnificat High School and went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Xavier University in Cincinnati. In 2021, Elizabeth graduated from the Chicago College of Optometry. During externships while in optometry school, she developed a particular interest in diagnosing and treating glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Following her doctorate program, she completed residency at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center affiliated with The Ohio State University, specializing in ocular disease.
Dr. Bedell enjoys running, yoga, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and cheering on the Cleveland sports teams. She is happy to have finally returned to the area where she is serving patients at The Eye Centers. Dr. Bedell is currently accepting new patients at our Lakewood, Fairview Park, and Middleburg Heights locations.
